Alta Badia - 130 km of great emotions
130 km of slopes prepared every evening with the help of 40 snow cats, 53 lifts, a well developed system of snow making facilities, the direct ski connection to more than 500 km of slopes in the Sella area and the centra position in the Dolomiti Superski carousel (450 lifts and 1.220 km of best prepared slopes) make Alta Badia a number one skiing area.
The lifts (total hourly capacity = 76.700 people):
1 cable car, 6 automatic coupling cabin lifts, 10 automatic coupling chair lifts, 19 chair lifts, 16 ski lifts, 1 inclinated lift
Due to its central position in the Dolomite skiing area, Alta Badia is an ideal departure point for some of the most beautiful skiing trips in the Alpine area, such as the Sellaronda , the "Tour of the First World War" and the trip to the Marmolada glacier.
Skipass Dolomiti Superski - the superlative skipass
The Dolomiti Superski Pass is valid on 450 lifts that serve 1220 km of slopes. This corresponds to the distance between Cortina and Bari or Cortina and Hamburg. The difference in height is more than 126 kilometres. This means 14 times higher than Everest. Over 1000 km of slopes are provided with artificial snow. And every night around 300 track openers prepare the slopes for the next day's skiing.
Ski for free until you are 8
The Ski pass for children under the age of 8 (born after 27.11.1996) is free if the person who accompanies them buys a ski pass for the same period (excluded are daily passes, 12 day passes and season passes).
To obtain a free skipass it is necessary to ask in person and present proof of identity.
